What happens after you send your hair sample?

| Written by: Test My Food Sensitivity Team | 3 min read

You have completed your submission and posted your hair sample. What happens next? Our testing team processes your sample, and your personalised results arrive by email. Results in 5–7 working days once your sample is received.

Here is a practical guide to the next stage, including what to keep handy and where to go if you have a question.

Keep your order information together

Save your order confirmation and the instructions you received. Having these details in one place makes it easier to check your own records or explain a question to our support team.

Your order confirmation records your purchase; your results email contains your report. Check which information you need before searching your inbox.

Your sample reaches our testing team

Our experienced technicians process hair samples using an established process and internal quality checks. Your At-home Hair Sensitivity Test is Wellness Screening Using a Hair Sample, designed to help you discover potential food and environmental sensitivities.

Your personalised report presents the potential sensitivity patterns assessed through bioresonance, with an explanation to help you understand its contents.

If you are unsure about the status of your sample, contact our support team with your order details.

Look out for your results email

Your personalised results show potential sensitivity patterns across the items and categories included in your chosen test. The standard turnaround starts when your sample is received, rather than on the day you place your order.

Check your inbox and spam or junk folder when looking for an email. If you cannot find your results or think the email address on your order may be incorrect, ask our team for help rather than placing another order to resolve it.

Make use of the waiting time

If you want a clearer record of your everyday routine, start a food and symptom diary. Note meals, drinks, approximate portions and how you felt, including days when you felt fine. You do not need to wait for your report to begin.

Our food and symptom diary guide includes a simple template and optional ChatGPT prompts to help organise your notes. Keep your observations as you recorded them; they can be useful questions to discuss later.

When your report arrives

Read the explanation alongside the results, and use the report as a starting point for considered exploration—not proof of what caused a symptom. Seek professional advice before significant or prolonged dietary restriction. If you have questions about the report's wording, our support team can help explain the service; medical questions belong with an appropriate healthcare professional.

Need help with your order?

Have your order number, the email address used for the purchase and a short description of your question ready. If your question concerns delivery, include the date you posted your sample.

You can contact our support team here. Share order details privately through the support channel, rather than in public comments.
